Thank you for dropping by our website! St. John’s is a vibrant and caring Christian community located in the heart of historic Port Hope. We have been an active part of the town since 1819, and continue to try and make a difference in the lives of those around us.

What we do at St. John’s is summed up by our mission statement, LEARN LOVE SERVE. Preaching and education are important components of our life together. The sermons are relevant to daily life and our education programs are geared for people of all ages. We try to live what we learn about God by being a place where people are valued and loved, and by reaching out to those around us with the love of God.

We are by no means perfect, but we try our best to be an authentic community of faith. We hope you enjoy looking around the website. We’d love you to join us either for worship or a social event. You’ll find us to be a friendly, welcoming group of people and a great place to belong.
