In the Spiritual Park, we have a saying "No worm, no bee; no you, no me" when discussing the interconnectedness of all Creation. If you are interested in learning more about these amazing creatures, we have a couple of events coming up. On July 19 at 10:30 a.m., Penny Nutbrown will be leading a workshop on worm composting at the Port Hope Public Library. Participants will go home with their own mini worm composting system in a mason jar. If bees give you more of a buzz, on August 13 at 10:30, Dancing Bee Honey will be giving us a tour of their facility and introducing us to the ancient art of beekeeping and teaching us all about the role of bees in pollination. The library gig is a drop-in affair, but if you would like to join us at Dancing Bee, please contact Penny Nutbrown (pmnutbrown@gmail.com)
