Trinity Group

Trinity Group has been an important part of St.John’s for many years. We meet once a month on Mondays at 10:30am in the Upper Parish Hall. All are welcome.

St. John’s Port Hope

Trinity Groups main focus is in supporting missions works abroad but has also supported some charities within Canada.

This group has evolved over the years. Its origins go back to the first women’s association of St. John’s in 1843. Initially local fund-raising was used with in the church for various upgrades or supports to church activities. Starting in 1879 the women of St. John’s turned their focus to mission work. What was just a women’s association has now grown to include all people and is now called Trinity Group.

Mzuzu in Malawi

This amazing organization in Malawi supports vulnerable, orphaned children due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The orphanages where these children go is run by volunteer women. St. John’s in Port Hope is partners with St. Peter’s in Cobourg in this mission work. We receive regular updates from Mzuzu and how our funds help them in their mission.
